After everything they’ve given us, they deserve a retirement that feels like this. Ardenvale is owned and managed by Carol Navis, who has over 35 years’ experience caring for horses. Since buying the farm in 1998, she has made it a place where horses can simply be horses.
Carol lives on site, taking a small number of residents and caring for each one as part of the family. Familiar faces, thoughtful care and friendships that have time to grow.

We believe retired horses should live out 24/7. Small, carefully matched groups let them settle, find their friends and enjoy a long, happy retirement together.
Peace of mind for you
Checks at least twice a day, rug changes, supervised farrier trims and supervision of annual vaccinations and teeth checks. The little details matter here.

From laminitic ponies to ex-racehorses, Carol has experience caring for a wide range of horses and ponies. Please get in touch to talk through your horse’s individual needs and current availability.
Worming, veterinary fees, rug repairs, supplements, hay and feed are charged separately. We’ll talk you through a personal package rather than a one-size-fits-all price.
